Hey all,
Thanks to everyone for making it out last week! Here is what we came away with:
1. We have coordinators! Well, mostly. We came away from the meeting with a committed core group, with interim leaders Marcy & Ryan. Be on the look out - they want you! Interested? contact Marcy at marhoads@abadiaccess.com
2. Tornado response action plan:
- Marcela is coordinating with AIA Dallas (i.e. RUDAT or Communities by Design) to begin formulating a plan for local disaster design response.
***New Location***
Back-up plan: The meeting space at Lee Park was unavailable, so we will now be meeting down the road at Ryan's apartment:
3215 Coker Street
Irving, TX 75062
We will have some finger-food snacks and a few types of beer and soda -$5 for food/drink or feel free to BYOB.
Looking forward to seeing everyone,
Ryan

-Address and apartment number are the same (#3215).
Friends and AFHer's,
As you undoubtedly have seen, many school and homes were affected by last weeks' tornados. Stephen and I are currently working with AFH HQ to formulate a plan for long-term recovery partnership. As some of you may know, AFH & AIA formed a partnership back in February to address an architectural response to natural disaster. Please take a moment to check it out and consider how you may be able to get involved:
