Architecture for Humanity- the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter, started in June 2009, seeks to make architectural design services more accessible to communities in need. We believe, where resources and expertise are scarce, the value of innovative, sustainable design can really make a difference in people's lives.
Through partnerships, advocacy, education based programs and design competitions (http://www.openarchitecturenetwork.org), AfH aims to promote humanitarian and social design, building a more sustainable future through the power of professional design.
You don't have to be a design professional to contribute, just be willing to share your time, effort and ideas in making innovative design more accessible. We look forward to meeting you and making a difference in the community together!
