It's official: we need to catch up! Join us Tuesday, June 11 (our meeting schedule is changing to fall on the second Tuesday of the month rather than the third).
Important to attend regarding:
- bike rack competition charrette hosting at Perot Museum Social Science night June 21st
- Playhouse Fun Project (big NEWS regarding this!)
- Living Plaza's Annual Shade Project
....and a lot more. #seeyouthere
Due to the threat of inclement weather and the recent severe weather outbreaks our region has been experiencing, we thought it better not to drag you out into this mess tonight, unable to tell when it will have passed.
We'll get back to you on the reschedule date.
Stay safe, stay dry!
Join us for lively discussion, updates on our in-the-works projects, networking with awesome, like-minded professionals, perhaps a mini design charrette, and a cocktail (or 2)!
RSVP on Facebook.
Join us Tuesday night as we combine our monthly meeting with a parklet work night. We are building the parklet at Mark Wooten's place. The address is 612 N Henderson Avenue, right behind Garden Cafe. Work will actually begin on the parklet prior to Tuesday night, and info will be posted on here regarding that as well.
The parklet will be debuting at Taco Fest on Saturday the 20th in Deep Ellum, and we need all the hands we can get to bring the plans to fruition. If you missed the design charrette, check out the pics on the City Imaginarium page.
April is Architecture Month, so we're designing a parklet in partnership with Revolutionary Pants.
A parklet is a park that takes up a parking space and gives people a place to hang out. Ours will be part library - because it's cool to read, and part garden, because "agri-tecture" is on the rise...and in general just cool!
Join us for drinks at the British Beverage Company in Uptown as we discuss upcoming projects. We'll be unveiling new opportunities, scheduling design charrettes and work days to take place within the next month, so be present to be in-the-know and INVOLVED!
Join us for our monthly meeting. We have a number of projects coming up in the next few months that you definitely want to be involved in.
This is a meeting you don't want to miss!
